Project Manager – The Guinness Partnership
About the Role
We have a new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the Guinness team. This is a full-time, 35-hour per week, permanent position based at our Oldham office, with hybrid working options—blending office days with working from home.
The purpose of this role is to:
- Plan, lead, and deliver multiple technical or business change projects/workstreams in larger projects
- Responsible for delivering change across The Guinness Partnership, supporting programme management through impactful business change initiatives
- Continuously identify improvements in services and ways of working
What We Are Looking For
You must demonstrate the following essential skills:
- Proven track record of delivering projects across people, processes, and technology
- Excellent stakeholder-management skills
- Experience in matrix management of delivery teams
- Commercial awareness, with contracting and third-party management experience
- Proficiency in multiple project methodologies and ability to choose the right approach
- Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including MS Project (for planning, tracking, and reporting)
- Proficiency in delivery and collaboration tools (e.g., DevOps, SharePoint, MS Teams, Asana)
- Alignment with Guinness Behaviours

Desirable qualifications (not mandatory, but advantageous):
- Experience in cloud adoption projects
- Familiarity with ITIL Principles & processes
- Background in the housing sector
Essential Qualifications:
- Professional Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent)
- Degree-level education, or equivalent professional experience
