Job Description We are seeking a Business Optimisation Project Manager to join our Operations function and support the delivery of strategic initiatives that improve compliance, governance, operational performance, risk management, and business efficiency. Working within the Business Optimisation team, the successful candidate will lead and coordinate projects that support regulatory compliance, operational resilience, process improvement, technology enablement, and organisational effectiveness. The role will have a significant focus on delivering our Telecommunications Security Act (TSA) programme, whilst also supporting wider optimisation initiatives across the business. This role requires an experienced project manager who can work across multiple departments, engaging stakeholders at all levels to coordinate activities, manage risks, drive accountability, and ensure successful project outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with operational leaders, technical teams, compliance specialists, project managers, and third-party suppliers to deliver sustainable business improvements and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements. Responsibilities (but not limited to): The extent of your duties will include but are not limited to: Develop and maintain detailed project and programme plans, ensuring activities, resources, dependencies, and milestones are clearly defined and managed. Coordinate multiple workstreams across operational, technical, and business functions to ensure successful delivery of agreed outcomes. Identify, manage, and mitigate project and programme risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies. Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, timescales, priorities, and business objectives. Support the delivery of regulatory, governance, compliance, operational resilience, and business optimisation initiatives across the organisation. Governance, Compliance and Risk Management Support the delivery and ongoing management of regulatory and compliance-related programmes, including the Telecommunications Security Act (TSA) and other governance initiatives as required. Maintain programme governance documentation, action trackers, risk registers, and compliance evidence. Coordinate internal audits, reviews, assessments, and remediation activities where applicable. Ensure appropriate controls, processes, and governance frameworks are documented, maintained, and continuously improved. Escalate risks, issues, and compliance concerns through appropriate governance channels. Stakeholder Management Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders involved in assigned projects and programmes. Build strong working relationships across operational, technical, security, compliance, and leadership teams. Communicate project and programme status, risks, decisions, and achievements to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Facilitate workshops, governance meetings, and stakeholder reviews to ensure alignment and accountability. Business Optimisation and Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, governance frameworks, controls, and ways of working. Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to drive efficiency, consistency, and quality improvements across the business. Support the implementation of automation, process improvement, and optimisation initiatives. Promote best practice project delivery, governance, and operational excellence across the organisation. Documentation and Reporting Prepare and maintain project documentation, plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and governance materials. Produce regular reporting for senior management, highlighting progress, achievements, risks, issues, and recommended actions. Ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and maintained to an auditable standard. Track and report on programme benefits, actions, and outcomes to ensure value is delivered. Project Closure and Benefits Realisation Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions. Measure and report on project outcomes and benefits achieved. Ensure all deliverables, actions, documentation, and governance requirements are completed and formally closed. Capture recommendations and improvement opportunities to support future initiatives. Qualifications 3+ years MSP Experience 5+ years Project Management experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Eagerness to learn and develop both themselves and the business. Reliable and approachable. The ability to remain calm under pressure, command respect, have the confidence of their colleagues & be able to communicate effectively at all levels. Confidence in making decisions and follow up their decisions with action to achieve objectives. Capable of working with minimum supervision. Demonstrated ability to positively influence and work collaboratively with all levels of an organisation to achieve improved business outcomes.
