About the Role
We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Manager, Client Connectivity. The role sits within Global Payments Solutions (GPS).
Our GPS Client Connectivity team is dedicated to enhancing client experiences and driving growth through seamlessly onboarding our cutting-edge Global Payments and Liquidity Solutions. As Project Manager, Client Connectivity you will be key to shaping global and local client relationships by managing multiple payments and liquidity projects to successful completion. You’ll be at the forefront of onboarding clients onto HSBC’s channels and solutions, driving satisfaction, and supporting excellence.

In this role you’ll:
- Support pre-mandate and request for information consultation and project management expertise for our diverse client base, utilising your knowledge of Payments, Liquidity, ERP and Regulatory Solutions
- Streamline documentation processes using tools to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Employ proactive project management methodologies and utilise our scalable organisation designs to manage multiple client projects effectively
- Serve as the central liaison between internal and external stakeholder across multiple regions, effectively communicating with senior stakeholders
- Take ownership of client relationships post-sales, leading client communication throughout the project lifecycle and beyond
- Ensure project expectations are met before a project is completed
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve client experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, including Legal, Operations, IT, Sales and Product, to optimise internal processes and project delivery
- Stay updated on latest developments in payments products and technology

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Previous project management experience
- Experience of building effective client relationships and stakeholder management
- Liquidity product knowledge and proficiency in payments
- Familiarity with design thinking principles
- Ability to manage competing deadlines effectively
- Proven ability to excel under pressure and drive strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
Location
This is a hybrid position. Location can be Edinburgh or London.
