Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Norwich, York or Bristol

Length of Contract: 12 Month FTC

Salary: £65-70K PA

Overview

Our client is looking for a Cloud Migration Project Manager that will lead a migration workstream within a large-scale technology transformation and modernisation program. The role is responsible for workstream governance, supplier management, risk control, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery within a regulated environment while maintaining compliance with security standards and policy requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of cloud migration waves.
  • Develop integrated plans and manage dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Coordinate workshops with internal teams, cloud providers, migration partners, and suppliers.
  • Drive governance through programme steering committees and executive reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage supplier performance, contractual obligations, and delivery outcomes.
  • Oversee testing, cutover, service transition, and operational readiness activities.
  • Identify and realise cost, risk reduction, and operational resilience benefits.

Essential Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience delivering large-scale AWS cloud migration programmes using Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery practices.
  • Proven background in managing complex third-party suppliers and system integrators.
  • Strong expertise in governance, financial management, and risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects within Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated environments.
  • Professional project or programme management qualifications, such as Prince2, PMP, or MSP.
  • AWS certification is desirable.
