About the Role: Project Manager (Digital Building Services)
The Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering Digital Building consultancy services and systems integration projects for FPC and its clients, ensuring projects align with scopes, budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
As a client-facing leader, you will:
- Manage project delivery teams, coordinate with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
- Ensure commercial, operational, and technical objectives are met.
- Contribute to process improvement, governance reporting, and best-practice frameworks in alignment with the Delivery Operations Performance team.
This leadership position demands technical excellence, commercial awareness, and professional integrity, with a focus on client satisfaction and project success.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end project management of Digital Building initiatives, adhering to proposals, Scope of Work (SoW), and client agreements.
- Oversee objectives, budgets, resource allocation, and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive oversight of risks, issues, dependencies, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Management
- Lead and coordinate project teams including Digital Building consultants, technical specialists, and contractors.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to ensure collaborative performance and efficiency.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of FPC’s project delivery frameworks.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring proactive communication, issue resolution, and alignment with client expectations.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and regular project reports (financial, operational, and risk updates).
Operational Governance & Process Development
- Contribute to FPC’s project management process enhancements, working with the Delivery Operations Performance team.
- Promote lessons learned, operational reviews, and knowledge-sharing to elevate future project performance.
Services & Solutions Delivery
- Manage systems integration and smart technology deployment, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
- Oversee stakeholder coordination, technology rollouts, system commissioning, and project closeout activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, service reports, and client handover packages.
Commercial Awareness & Business Development
- Monitor project financials, ensuring adherence to budgets and commercial objectives.
- Identify additional service opportunities and communicate them to FPC leadership.
- Support proposal development, estimating, and business growth initiatives.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in project management for Commercial Real Estate, Smart Buildings, Building Technology, Systems Integration, IoT, or Digital Building projects.
- Proven ability to deliver multi-stakeholder projects from inception to successfully closeout.
- Strong project management and operational governance skills, including:
- Risk management
- Issue escalation
- Change control processes
- Exceptional client relationship management, with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication (project reporting, stakeholder management, presentations).
- Experience leading project teams, demonstrating leadership, mentoring, and performance management.
- Technical understanding of Digital Building systems, integration, and implementation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Familiarity with RIBA Stages of Work, AIA Stages, or leading international project frameworks.
- Experience in construction/project delivery, systems commissioning, or facility technology integration.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS) and data analytics tools.
- Expertise in developing:
- Scope of Work (SoW)
- Requests for Proposal (RFP)
- Technical submittals
- Operational process documentation
- Relevant project management certifications (PMI, APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
Location & Additional Info
- Based in the UK with frequent travel to London.
