Project Manager – Communications Surveillance
A global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a strategic Electronic Communications Capture, Archive and Surveillance platform. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end implementation of a communications surveillance ecosystem, collaborating closely with compliance, cyber security, legal, infrastructure, technology teams, and third-party vendors to ensure a secure, compliant, and successful delivery.

Job Title: Project Manager – Communications Surveillance Location: London (3 Days Onsite) Duration: 6 Months (Extendable) Start Date: ASAP
A critical role for a seasoned professional with experience delivering high-stakes technology and regulatory projects in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of an enterprise communications capture, archive, and surveillance platform.
- Manage the full project lifecycle—planning, governance, budgeting, risk assessment, dependencies, and reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including compliance, cyber security, legal, infrastructure, and technology stakeholders.
- Oversee third-party vendors, implementation partners, and the RFP (Request for Proposal) process.
- Supervise platform implementation, testing, migration, go-live, and operational readiness.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and information security throughout delivery.
- Provide project updates to senior stakeholders and steering committees.

Requirements
Essential Experience
- Proven track record in delivering complex technology or regulatory change projects within financial services or a highly regulated environment.
- Strong Project Management experience, particularly in enterprise-wide technology implementations.
- Experience working alongside compliance, cyber security, infrastructure, and technology teams.
- Knowledge of communications surveillance, archiving, or compliance platform projects (desirable but not mandatory).
- Deep understanding of:
- Project governance and risk management.
- Budgeting and change control methodologies.
- Stakeholder engagement, including senior leadership and third-party vendors.
- Hands-on experience in coordinating testing, migration, implementation, and go-live activities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage executives, regulators, and external partners.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to operate independently in fast-paced environments.
