The Completions & Well Intervention (CWI) Project Manager is responsible for and leads a well construction/completion and/or solutions project(s) for the CWI business. The project manager will be customer facing and have full accountability for achieving the business development and account objectives including project P&L.
The role would include oversight of all stages of project(s) from planning through operational deployment and on through project closing. The project manager will drive “on-time” delivery, consistency, and service delivery excellence, all while maximizing the revenue, minimizing cost, and optimizing the timing of cash collection. Additionally, the position will engage significantly with the Service Delivery organization.
Job Main Objectives
- Leads all elements of the project including all BH products and services, contracted parties and client interfaces.
- Performs as SPC with the client, nurtures the relationship, acts as the primary contract manager in conjunction with other managers.
- Responsible for all aspects of the financial performance of the project.
- Owns project service delivery, performance improvement, and incremental revenue through upsell strategies.
- Manages multiple PL, segments, products and services across multiple wellsites/rigs, often in complex contractual arrangements.
- Owns the overall customer deliverables by having the responsibility for the Integrated Solutions compliance, financial KPI’s, service delivery and HSE performance.
- Applies Baker Hughes specific group Management System processes and procedures to the project, as well as any mandated software solutions that are applicable.

Specific Tasks
- Monitors Projects HSE Performance and leads regular reviews with the involved parties.
- Directly manages the Project Management Team, and indirectly all other Project assigned personnel.
- Aligns cross product line strategies to the Integrated or X-PL Solutions project deliverables.
- Promotes and drives implementation of Remote Operations and Multiskilling in the projects.
- Guides proficient networking and touchpoints in a matrix organization to ensure sufficient and effective use of supporting resources for the project.
- Ensure timely delivery and execution readiness for operations with PL’s.
- Act as Escalation point for the SDC’s / Project Engineers on assigned project.
- Responsible for Project Readiness Assessments.
- Ensures that jobs are evaluated and actions are in place to drive improvement.
- Market intelligence – Create and drive account growth strategy across all PL’s.
- Drive oversight and visibility of cost control for designated segment/PL in discrete projects if applicable.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited university or relevant industry experience.
- Have strong experience in Well Completions with a minimum of 5 years as a project manager.
- Have experience in managing multiple product line P&L (Profit and Loss management) and experience managing multiple simultaneous rig/site operations.
- Have leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skill.
- Proven personnel development skills will be required in this role.
- Ability to manage, develop, coach and mentor high level teams across organizational boundaries is required.
- Have excellent English oral and written communications skills, including ability to organize meetings and distributing accurate and succinct minutes of meetings.

For Italy: The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 72,000 To 99,000. The provisions of the Contratto Collettivo Energia e Petrolio will be applied to this position. Art. 32 and Art. 34 of that collective bargaining agreement relate to pay.
For United Kingdom: The initial pay range for this position will be GBP 88,920 To 122,265. There are no provisions of any collective agreement relating to pay which will be applied to this position.
