The Role: Project Manager
You’ll support clients with both internal and client-facing events and conferences, delivering exceptional service through project management and creative problem-solving. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing full event lifecycle from initial brief via post-event reconciliation.
- Managing project plans, collateral, registration, transportation, hotel accommodations, entertainment, food and beverage (F&B), audio/visual needs, webcasts, staging, speaker coordination, and event execution.
- Ensuring compliance with client standards and operational policies.
Travel Requirement: Onsite events may require domestic or international travel as necessary.
Your Contributions
Key Responsibilities
- Full life-cycle management of virtual (V), in-person (IP), and hybrid events.
- Financial management of project budgets, including:
- Budget development & management
- Expense tracking & invoice processing
- Post-event reconciliation & financial reporting
- Site selections & contract negotiations for venues, vendors, and accommodations.
- Vendor coordination across:
- Registration
- F&B
- Transportation
- Audio/visual (AV)
- Speakers & monitoring
- Virtual platforms (Webex, Zoom)
- Site logistics & staging
- Deep collaboration with teams (e.g., Marketing, Production, Event Tech, Legal, Data Management).
- Virtual event planning including:
- Configuring appropriate virtual platform(s)
- Scheduling, attendee communications, and onboarding of suppliers
- Co-planning large-scale programmes with internal teams and clients.
- Ensuring adherence to client policies and risk mitigation.
- Post-event wrap-up, including:
- Budget reconciliation
- Quantitative and qualitative feedback (debriefs)
- Share insights for future improvements
- Knowledge transfer on best practices, new suppliers, services, and venues.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a highly organised, client-focused Project Manager with:
Experience
- 5–7+ years in event/project management, ideally in corporate or fintech. Preference for:
- Event conference, and meeting production experience including:
- C-level executive events
- Cocktail receptions and gala dinners
- Multi-day international delegations
- Event conference, and meeting production experience including:
- Senior stakeholder management experience.
- Proven virtual event design and execution experience:
- Familiarity with Webex or Zoom is a plus.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Excellent project management with ability to:
- Handle multiple high-priority projects under pressure (Deadline: critical!).
- Adapt and pivot quickly in dynamic environments.
- Demo of organization and innovation.
- Clear, written and verbal communication.
- Hands-on, ambitious, and proactive approach.
- Negotiation, leadership, and managing conflicting demands.
- Strong relationship building with clients & vendors.

Technical Preference
- Cvent or other event database experience.
- Familiarity with audiovisual clients or practices.
- Knowledge of volumes and pricing for key European cities.
