Project Manager

Fully remote

Working in our growing Projects team - reporting into the Senior Technical Project Manager

Conquer AI deploys production-ready AI systems for FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 clients. We're scaling fast. Every AI programme we run is made up of projects with their own timelines, backlogs and moving parts, and someone has to run those day to day so nothing slips quietly.

The reality of this role

This is the engine room, not the boardroom. You won't be setting programme strategy, you'll be making sure the plan actually happens: sprints run, blockers get cleared, the backlog reflects reality, and the Delivery Lead never gets a surprise. You don't need to build the models yourself, but you need to understand enough about how AI projects work, data pipelines, model development cycles, testing, to plan around them properly rather than around a generic template.

What you'll own

  • Day-to-day running of individual project workstreams within larger AI programmes
  • Sprint planning, backlog management and timeline tracking
  • Coordination across engineering, data and client-facing teams
  • Risk and blocker identification, raised early, not after the fact
  • Reporting that keeps the Delivery Lead and client stakeholders genuinely informed
  • The project management standard other PMs are measured against as we grow

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
