Project Manager
Project Manager – Facilities Management (M&E)
Location: Loughton, Essex Salary: £75,000–£80,000 + car allowance, bonus, and benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established Building Services and Facilities Management contractor, specialising in delivering Mechanical, Electrical (M&E) and Fabric projects across London and the South East.
The company operates across diverse sectors, including commercial offices, healthcare, education, retail, the public sector, and critical environments. Known for delivering planned lifecycle works, CAT A & CAT B fit-outs, refurbishment projects, and reactive capital works, they serve a prestigious client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver M&E projects across commercial and facilities management environments
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring programme, cost, and quality objectives are met
- Lead engineers, site managers, supervisors, and specialist subcontractors
- Develop and maintain project programmes, including procurement and resource planning
- Monitor project budgets, variations, and commercial performance alongside the commercial team
- Chair client design and progress meetings, fostering strong stakeholder relationships
- Coordinate commissioning, testing, QA inspections, snagging, and final handovers
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations, and company procedures
- Produce regular progress reports for senior management and clients

About You
- Previous experience as a Project Manager within facilities management or building services
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
- Excellent commercial awareness and programme management skills
- Proven leadership and subcontractor management experience
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- SMSTS qualification
- Full UK driving licence
