Role Overview
As a Project Manager within National Technology, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of the DMS project, overseeing all phases from current state discovery and future state design through to architecture, tool selection, migration and adoption.
You’ll Make an Impact By
- Manage the engagement with the selected implementation partner, holding them to plan, scope, quality and commercial commitments, and ensuring effective collaboration with RSM internal teams.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource plans and budgets, and track progress against them across all four phases.
- Plan and oversee the migration of content from legacy network drives and other repositories to SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365, including ROT (redundant, outdated, trivial) analysis, wave-based migration, cut-over and decommissioning of legacy systems.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Audit, Tax, Consulting, National Technology, Information Security, Risk and Compliance, ensuring requirements from each service line and support function are captured and addressed.
- Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, actions and decisions proactively, escalating to the programme sponsor and steering committee as needed.
- Facilitate regular project, governance and technical stand-up meetings, providing clear updates to business stakeholders and ensuring alignment across teams and the implementation partner.
- Oversee the design and rollout of governance, security and compliance configurations — including Microsoft Purview retention, sensitivity labels, DLP, least-privilege access via Azure AD and lifecycle controls — ensuring the solution meets regulatory and information governance requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
