My client is a leading multi-site electronics and technology manufacturing business, who are part of a larger international group of connected technology manufacturing businesses. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, my client seeks a Project Manager to join their Engineering Division.

About The Role
The Project Manager will oversee the end to end implementation of engineering and/or multi discipline projects. You will be responsible for the efficient and effective use of resources to deliver the projects with multiple stakeholders. You will deliver projects on time, within budget, and that meet the specification required for the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation and management of the projects within an Agile framework
- Ensuring the project scope is well defined and understood
- Organising the resources required to deliver the project
- Effectively managing any sub-contractors required for the project
- Overseeing the accounting monitoring and control of the project
- Advising on effective project management to other stakeholders
- Reporting to stakeholders on project progress against agreed metrics
- Working in conjunction with other Principle Engineers, build the delivery schedule taking into account the resource and capacity of the department
- Contribute to development considerations with the use of emerging technologies
- Evaluation of projects against benchmark and sharing of lessons learnt and best practice

About You
To be considered for the role, it is essential that you possess a Degree in a relevant discipline (electronics, electrical, automation, embedded software, robotics etc.) and possess considerable demonstrable skills and experience as a Project Manager working within a multidisciplinary engineering/technology environment.

Key Selection Criteria
- Professional qualifications in Project Management would be an advantage
- Motivated, confident, self-aware and highly analytical
- Inclusive, positive and co-operative working attitude
- Problem solver
- Ability to deal with clients at all levels and display high emotional intelligence
- Project or team manager with experience of commercial project delivery.
- Proven success managing end-to-end projects, motivating teams and delivering on time and on budget
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Knowledge of Scrum and other Agile development techniques
- Ability to make critical decisions and be accountable for outcomes.
- Attention to detail and focus on quality output
- Good knowledge of both waterfall and agile project management techniques
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Previous experience of working in a product development environment would be an advantage
