The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – ERP Finance Controller (SAP) to lead SAP Finance projects while providing functional expertise in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FI/CO). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing ERP implementations, supporting finance operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP ERP Finance implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Configure and maintain SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules based on business requirements.
- Support SAP system administration, maintenance, upgrades, testing, and change management.
- Work closely with finance teams to improve accounting and financial processes.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical consultants, and third-party vendors.
- Prepare functional specifications and oversee solution design and implementation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across ERP finance processes.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a SAP Project Manager or SAP Finance Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO configuration and support.
- Experience managing ERP implementation and transformation projects.
- Excellent understanding of financial accounting, controlling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with other ERP modules.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
- Experience using Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.

Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification (essential).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- SAP Certification in Finance (FI/CO) is highly desirable.
- Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile) is an advantage.
