Project Manager Opportunity

Are you ready to take ownership of exciting projects from brief to delivery? We're looking for a Project Manager to join our project delivery team, leading events, conferences, exhibitions, virtual events and campaigns from end-to-end, while supporting our senior team on larger, more complex projects.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced events professional ready to step up, take on real budget and client ownership, and make their mark on some amazing projects.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end project management of projects including client liaison, briefing, scoping/managing all deliverables, supplier management and keeping projects on time/on budget
  • Where necessary, work alongside a Senior Project Manager or Project Director to support delivery of major projects
  • Budget ownership and management
  • Preparing and managing project timelines and status reports
  • Working alongside the creative team to ensure creative vision is delivered whilst maintaining high production standards, within budget
  • Supporting on pitches, carrying out research as necessary and contributing to responses
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with the pre agreed Health & Safety plan
  • Communicating confidently and proactively with the team throughout a project whilst maintaining open communication with all stakeholders including internal teams, suppliers, clients and contractors
  • Supplier management including; liaison (booking of services, receipting information), briefing on project requirements, sourcing research and adding gold standard suppliers to our database
  • Negotiating with suppliers and venues
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, suppliers and venues
  • Writing engaging copy on pitches, decks and briefs
  • Manage the production of briefing documents
  • Leading smaller project debriefs, identifying and implementing lessons learnt
  • Maintain a general understanding of trends within our industry and an understanding of our clients business
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding in company procedures and working in accordance with these at all times
  • Any other needs as required by the business

  • Proven experience at Project Co-ordinator level
  • Budget and margin management
  • Experience delivering all or part of a major project
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with a client first approach
  • Lead client calls and presentations independently
  • Knowledge and experience of the events industry
