Role Overview

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + package Location: Office-based in Tower Hamlets | Projects across London, Kent & surrounding areas

Hill McGlynn is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing fit out and refurbishment contractor for an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Project Manager looking to work on a diverse range of commercial fit out and refurbishment projects across London, Kent, and the surrounding areas. While the company's headquarters are in Tower Hamlets, the role will require you to manage projects across multiple UK locations.


The Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of multiple fit out and refurbishment projects from inception through to completion. You will collaborate closely with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to guarantee that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple fit out and refurbishment projects simultaneously.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of project delivery.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to foster strong professional relationships.
  • Monitor project programmes, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project risks and challenges.
  • Produce regular progress reports and attend client meetings.
  • Maintain high standards of quality across all projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Project Manager within the fit out and refurbishment sector (essential).
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Experience in retail fit out and refurbishment would be highly advantageous.
  • Commercial awareness with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
