About The Project

Curzon Street station is a new £800m HS2 project in Birmingham city centre. The station development, whilst forming part of the new HS2 network between London and the North, will provide a catalyst for development across the East side of Birmingham. As a leading station, Curzon Street strives to provide a centre of excellence for the development of best practice reporting and management models.

About The Role

The Project Manager supports the delivery of the Fit Out package, managing defined scopes of work within the package and ensuring delivery in line with programme, quality, safety and commercial requirements. The role operates under the direction of the Senior Project Manager, with accountability for day-to-day coordination of design, subcontractors and interface activities. The Mace Dragados JV Project Managers are responsible for implementation of subcontract works and package delivery elements.

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage allocated elements of fitout package Support delivery against programme milestones and construction sequencing Monitor progress and escalate risks/issues to the Senior Project Manager Support development and tracking of the fitout programme Coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure alignment to design deliverables and Installation sequencing Identify delays and support implementation of mitigation measures Coordinate design deliverables between designers and subcontractors Ensure design outputs are issued in line with programme and are buildable Manage subcontractors delivering assigned Fitout packages Monitor safety performance, quality compliance, programme adherence Ensure subcontractors are working to approved RAMS, Specifications, ITPs Continuous coordination interface management across MEP, Structural and façade packages, external works Ensure works comply with Construction Phase Plan and CDM requirements Ensure temporary works are delivered in accordance with approved designs Responsible for ensuring materials, inspections and testing are completed in accordance with ITPs

What You’ll Bring

Experience delivering construction or fit-out packages on major projects Understanding of construction sequencing and site delivery Experience managing specialist subcontractors Strong coordination and communication skills Ability to manage multiple interfaces within a complex environment Strategic & dynamic thinker Current regs & CDM compliance

NEC commercial processes Tier 1 contractor experience Rail project experience
