Project Manager – Strategy & Transformation - Commercial - PMO - Consulting - FMCG
Ready to drive strategic transformation in one of the world's leading FMCG businesses?
We're looking for an exceptional Project Manager to join a high-profile Strategy & Transformation team, supporting the delivery of a major UK business strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, commercially driven environments and enjoys working with senior leaders to turn strategy into action.
This isn't a traditional PM role. We're looking for someone with a consulting or transformation background who can think strategically, bring structure to complexity, and keep multiple workstreams moving at pace. You'll be equally comfortable building robust Excel models as you are influencing Executive stakeholders and challenging the status quo.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead PMO governance across key strategic programmes, ensuring delivery stays on track, on time and aligned to business priorities.
- Partner with Executive and Senior Leadership teams to prepare governance packs, steering materials and decision papers.
- Build and maintain project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, dashboards and commercial Excel models.
- Translate complex data and multiple stakeholder inputs into clear, concise insights that support decision making.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies and blockers, driving pragmatic solutions to keep delivery moving.
- Build trusted relationships across functions, bringing people together to achieve common goals.
- Support strategic initiatives from planning through to execution, rolling up your sleeves whenever needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
