We’re currently recruiting for a Project Manager to lead our county-wide Free Home Energy Support Service, helping households save energy, reduce costs and create warmer, greener homes.
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the delivery of a high-impact programme supporting around 1,500 households across Cumbria, ensuring targets, budgets and funding requirements are met while leading and supporting a dedicated team. Working closely with funders, partners and colleagues, you’ll drive performance, manage risks, monitor outcomes and use data to continually improve the service.

The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced project manager with excellent organisational skills, a collaborative approach and a track record of delivering projects successfully. You’ll be comfortable leading and supporting staff, managing competing demands and communicating clearly with a wide range of stakeholders. Location
The role is contractually based at our Penrith office; however, we actively support flexible working patterns, including a blended approach to home, site, and office-based working.
Hours
30 hours per week.
Duration
End of March 2027, with potential for extension subject to funding.
Salary range
£30,728 – £38,728. Starting salary to be agreed depending on knowledge and experience.
