Your mission
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our European Project Management Office on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave from August 2026 to October 2027.
As a Project Manager, you’ll take the lead in managing complex, cross-functional, international programs that drive real business value. You'll support the entire project lifecycle—from initiation and planning to delivery and closure—ensuring alignment to business strategy, stakeholder expectations, and high-quality outcomes.
Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners across Europe, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards while supporting the successful adoption of change across the organization.
This role is based at our Watford office and offers a hybrid working pattern, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week and spend three days collaborating with colleagues in the office. Our location benefits from excellent public transport links, and free on-site parking is available for those who choose to drive.
What you will do:
- Managing projects throughout their full lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business objectives, project governance, and stakeholder expectations.
- Project Initiation:
- Define project governance and establish the project organization.
- Facilitate workshops to understand current processes, gather business requirements, and identify expected business benefits.
- Prepare business cases including financial impacts and ROI for Project Board approval.
- Project Planning:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage project budgets and support vendor selection where required.
- Coordinate design workshops and agree project scope with stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate resource allocation and project readiness.
- Project Delivery:
- Lead project execution and monitor progress against agreed milestones.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive change management activities to support business adoption.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Provide regular project updates to sponsors and governance boards.
- Project Closure:
- Ensure successful project handover to business owners.
- Complete project documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support benefit realization and sustainability of project outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
