Project Manager
Up to £500 per day – Outside IR35
Birmingham - (hybrid working - 3 days pw onsite)
We're supporting a leading organisation undergoing a significant multi-year transformation programme and are looking for a Project Manager with vehicle leasing / fleet management experience to join their team on an initial 12-month contract.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical projects supporting a major customer account, working directly alongside senior programme leadership to drive operational improvements, process transformation and service enhancements.
The Role
You'll be responsible for leading and delivering multiple projects across a complex and evolving transformation landscape. The work spans operational process improvements, asset management initiatives, customer-focused enhancements, audit-related activities and data-driven improvement programmes.

This role requires far more than traditional project administration. We're looking for a Project Manager who can thrive in ambiguity, create structure where governance is still maturing, and build momentum across challenging stakeholder groups.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering multiple transformation projects simultaneously
- Managing risks, dependencies and project governance
- Driving operational and process improvement initiatives
- Engaging with senior stakeholders and business leaders
- Creating clarity and accountability across complex workstreams
- Supporting the mobilisation and delivery of new programme initiatives
- Ensuring successful delivery against customer and business objectives

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering business transformation and operational improvement projects
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements
- Experience managing ambiguity and driving delivery without complete structure
- Strong governance, reporting and risk management capabilities
- Ability to engage effectively with both operational teams and senior leadership
Desirable Experience
- Fleet, automotive, mobility or asset management environments
- Service improvement programmes
- Customer-facing transformation projects
- Telematics, data or operational performance initiatives
