Power On, a part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, is seeking a Project Manager - Heat to help us fulfill our mission: "Earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by delivering exceptional service."
### Purpose of This Role Overseeing all aspects of District Energy projects, ensuring:
- Safe, on-time, on-budget delivery
- High-quality standards
- Superior customer service
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Manage and motivate cross-functional project teams (including internal, external stakeholders, and key suppliers).
- Scope & Deliverables: Ensure all project milestones are met, adherence to schedules, and quality standards.
- Culture & Compliance: Enforce and sustain a strong safety culture within projects.
- Contract Management: Support contract development and administer successful project completion through proactive management.
- Regulatory & Financial Compliance: Ensure alignment with company financial, procurement, legal, and operational policies.
- Risk & Performance: Proactively control project risk, issues, opportunities, budgets, costs, and change management; resolve real-time challenges or escalate when necessary.
- Communication: Prepare and deliver timely progress reports to all stakeholders (internal/external).
- Transition: Ensure smooth handover to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams.
- Performance Review: Close projects by evaluating successes/challenges, enhancing future project delivery.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Relevant degree qualification (or equivalent experience)
Certifications/Licences
- Current CSCS card
Experience/Knowledge
➔ Minimum 3-5 years managing District Energy (Construction & Adoption) projects, with a focus on:
- Multiple stakeholders and complex requirements.
- Full project lifecycle support (development → implementation → delivery controls).
- Commercial awareness and in-depth knowledge of project financial and contract management procedures.
Abilities/Skills
➔ Strong abilities in:
- Negotiation, influence, and decision-making.
- Commercial and financial project controls.
- Exemplary written and oral communication (reports, presentations, stakeholder briefings). ➔ Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Desirable additional qualifications:
- Professional membership (e.g., chartered engineering);
- Project Management certifications such as APM or PRINCE2.

✔ Experience with District Energy projects (Construction/Adoption). ✔ Solid background in contract management and financial governance. ✔ Strong reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
