Project Manager
Project Manager (Junior – Mid Level) – Belfast
About the Role
Seeking a [Project Manager] to join our team in Belfast, supporting a major industrial organisation in delivering improvement initiatives across its project portfolio. The focus is on strengthening project execution, providing additional capacity and specialist expertise where internal teams need support.
Location & Requirements
- Location: Belfast
- Working Arrangement: On-site
- Clearance: Clearable (Baseline Personnel Security Standard required)
- Experience Level: Junior – Mid
Key Responsibilities
- Support project deployment from initial definition through to completion
- Apply structured methodologies such as LBIP+, Agile, and industry best practices
- Provide enabling support where internal teams require additional capacity or specialist skills
- Assist in project planning, including scoping, scheduling, and workflow organisation
- Review and maintain documentation to ensure project artefacts are accurate and up to date
- Coordinate actions and deliverables across multiple stakeholders and workstreams
- Track progress and help maintain delivery momentum
- Support portfolio-level activities where multiple projects require alignment
- Ensure adherence to standards and promote consistent project execution
- Collaborate with project owners while respecting their governance and decision-making responsibility

Qualifications & Skills
Required
Skills
- Project support experience within industrial, technical, or complex organisational environments
- Strong understanding of structured delivery methodologies, such as LBIP+, Agile, or similar frameworks
- Ability to support projects across the full lifecycle (from initiation to completion)
- High-quality documentation skills, including maintaining project artefacts, standards, and records
- Coordination and action-tracking capability across multiple stakeholders and workstreams
- Clear communication skills with operational, technical, and management teams
- Experience working alongside project owners while respecting governance boundaries
- Ability to ensure adherence to delivery standards and promote consistent execution
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience
Desirable
- Portfolio-level support experience across multiple concurrent projects
- Familiarity with industrial or manufacturing environments
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to introduce best-practice tools
- Experience applying modern project techniques, such as:
- Iterative delivery
- Workflow optimisation
- Structured problem-solving
- Strong organisational skills for managing parallel activities and priorities
- Stakeholder engagement capability across operational, engineering, and leadership groups
- Ability to identify gaps and improvement opportunities within project processes
