Job summary
HM Land Registry (HMLR) is delivering an ambitious transformation portfolio to support its strategic priorities. As a Project Manager working in the Transformation Delivery Team, within the Transformation & Technology Directorate, you will help deliver complex, high-profile projects with organisation-wide impact.
Working collaboratively across HMLR, you will manage the delivery of complex projects by agreeing requirements, planning the end-to-end project lifecycle, and ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to the required quality. You will also support benefit realisation and provide effective financial management.

Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will lead the initiation and delivery of complex projects, ensuring clear governance and successful outcomes within agreed timescales, budgets and benefits. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to build support and ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
You will be accountable for project planning, risks, issues, dependencies, resources and financial management, including developing business cases and overseeing delivery partners. You will also lead stakeholder engagement and communications to ensure clear and consistent messaging.
Working collaboratively, you will support benefits realisation, business change, and continuous improvement, contributing to a strong, inclusive Project Delivery profession across HM Land Registry.

Please note this role requires a minimum of 30 hours per week. Travel and overnight stays will be required from time to time.
HMLR expect everyone to spend at least 60% of their working time in the office.

Person specification
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience of planning and coordinating complex work, delivering at pace in a project or similar environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels, including senior leaders
- Confident communicator who can explain complex information clearly and support effective problem solving
- Collaborative and adaptable, able to manage competing priorities, respond positively to change and work with others to deliver successful outcomes
