Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager I to join our team for a remote opportunity based in the United Kingdom.

The Project Manager I implements complex IT solutions for healthcare provider customers, managing small to medium-sized software deployment projects from planning through successful delivery.

This role coordinates cross-functional teams, including Imprivata employees, customer stakeholders, and third-party vendors, while overseeing project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications.

The ideal candidate has foundational project management experience supporting software implementation or similar tech projects and is committed to delivering high-quality customer outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  • Native-level French fluency (spoken + written) required for customer-facing roles
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Advanced German proficiency is highly desirable for supporting European clients

Successful candidates will also maintain project documentation, lead status meetings, and contribute to improving Professional Services delivery methodologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality software solutions that meet and exceed client expectations, on time and on budget
  • Manage all project delivery aspects, including scheduling, task management, stakeholder expectations, and resource allocation
  • Prioritise and align internal and external stakeholder demands
  • Establish and maintain project plans from kick-off to production roll-out
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve issues and mitigate project risks
  • Track and report on project status, time utilisation, and deliverable progress
  • Provide ongoing updates to leadership through scheduled or ad-hoc project reviews
  • Assist in agreement processes and scopes of work (SOW) reviews to ensure accurate budgeting
  • Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships
  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional services during and after implementations
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in the software industry
  • 2+ years implementing software solutions in a healthcare environment, with end-user impact
  • 1+ year coordinating or managing project teams
  • PMP or PgMP certification is preferred

Languages

  • Native-level French (spoken + written) is required
  • Advanced German fluency (spoken + written) is highly desirable

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel for project planning and financial management
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Experience using a Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform (e.g., OpenAir, FinancialForce) is preferred

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills, able to influence executive stakeholders
  • Strong ability to build customer relationships, resolve conflicts, and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with self-motivation and a customer-first approach
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently, maintaining high quality under pressure
