Project Manager (UK Sales Organisation) – Slough
The Slough location houses the UK Sales Organisation, as well as other regional and corporate functions external to sales. The office accommodates a diverse range of roles, ensuring a variety of expertise supports Eaton’s commercial and operational needs. The UK Sales Organisation collaborates with Product Business Units to sell a wide array of products, including:
- Lighting
- Fire
- Security
- Power Quality
- Power Distribution
- Industrial Controls
About the Role
The Project Manager will deliver assigned projects in alignment with the UK&I Project Team Manager’s objectives, ensuring adherence to agreed costs, quality standards, and timelines. You will uphold strict compliance with contractual obligations, including Eaton’s Code of Ethics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the full project lifecycle—from handover through to final completion and revenue collection.
- Leading resolution of project challenges to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Advocating for client and Eaton needs, ensuring positive engagements.
- Supporting accurate revenue forecast ##ing and risk mitigation to driveProfit Plan** achievements.

Responsibilities
Core Project Management Tasks
- Align project delivery with Eaton’s contracted scope, generating change orders to enhance profit margins.
- Accurately forecast, and report revenue while managing resource requirements through varied project phases.
- Identify, assess, log, and escalate risks (commercial, technical, schedule, and scope) proactively and manage them holistically.
- Ensure project adherence to contract terms, client quality expectations, and technical delivery standards, including:
- Controlling scope creep
- Managing Request for Information (RFIs)
- Securing client approval for drawings, Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS), and test documents
- Compiling snag lists for defect resolution
- Align project timelines for products, services, documentation, and quality to achieve on-time delivery.
- Optimise use of resources—both supplier and Eaton assets—to reduce costs while keeping delivery schedules intact.
- Maintain technical familiarity with the Eaton product range and apply this knowledge constructively in client engagements.
- Continuously improve business processes by proposing innovations, new initiatives, and optimised methodologies based on client trends.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or HND/HNC in electrical engineering (or equivalent work experience).
- CSCS & SMSTS certifications (training provided if required).
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Project Manager role.
Technical & Certification Skills
- Project Management certifications, such as PMP/CAPM or Principals of ING (Prince 2).
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
- Strong working familiarity with:
- MV switchgear
- UPS systems
- LV switchgear
- Transformers
- BMS/SCADA systems
- Energy Storage
Soft Skills & Attributes
- High attention to detail, balancing demanding, multi-tasking environments with precision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Self-motivated, demonstrating initiative.
- Strong communications, organisation, and leadership skills.
- Critical partnering experience with clients (presence of customer-facing engagement is a must).
- Comprehension of client delivery challenges and ability to manage under pressure with sheep--composure.
- Fluent written/spoken English.
