Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager – Industrial Automation role based in Havant. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end delivery of industrial automation projects, from scoping and planning through installation, commissioning, and handover.

- Coordinating internal engineering and technical teams
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients
- Expediting materials and equipment
- Monitoring logistics and site activities
- Ensuring inspections and quality checks are completed on schedule
- Identifying and mitigating risks
- Preparing project documentation and reports
- Supporting continuous improvement in project execution and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including experience planning, executing, and closing technical or industrial automation projects.
- Expeditor and expediting experience, with the ability to track and accelerate procurement, manufacturing, and delivery of project components.
- Inspection skills and familiarity with quality assurance processes for mechanical, electrical, or automation equipment.
- Logistics management capabilities, covering coordination of shipments, site deliveries, and installation schedules.
- Background in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing engineering is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with project management tools and MS Office; experience with ERP or scheduling software is an advantage.
- Relevant technical or engineering degree, or equivalent practical experience in industrial automation or manufacturing.
