About the Opportunity

We are partnering with an innovative engineering business developing next-generation technologies for the energy sector. As the organisation continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex new product development (NPD) programmes from concept through to commercial deployment.

This is an opportunity to join a highly technical, international team delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions in challenging operating environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in bringing advanced technologies to market while coordinating multidisciplinary teams across several global locations.

Location: UK (or EU Citizens willing to relocate)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead major engineering development projects from early-stage concept through testing, qualification, and commercial launch.
  • Own project scope, schedules, budgets, and delivery milestones.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation models, and programme reporting.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks, mitigation strategies, and change-control processes.
  • Facilitate design reviews, project governance, and stage-gate assessments.
  • Ensure high standards of documentation, compliance, and project controls.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and safety-focused project culture.

About You

  • Significant project management experience within advanced engineering, industrial technology, energy, manufacturing, oil & gas, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record delivering complex technology development programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and structured project delivery methodologies.
  • Comfortable operating within matrix organisations and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Experience working with project planning, scheduling, reporting, and business intelligence tools.
  • Engineering degree preferred; formal project management certification advantageous.
