Job Description
Here at evoke plc, our Project Managers are responsible for leading the successful delivery of cross-functional strategic business and technology initiatives across Evoke. In this position, you'll need a blend of stakeholder management, business change leadership, project planning, delivery governance, and technical project management expertise to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.
Using your industry experience in betting and gaming, you'll be accountable for creating robust delivery plans, driving execution against agreed milestones, and holding teams accountable for delivery commitments whilst maintaining excellent relationships across business and technology functions.
You'll also be partnering with business leaders to define and deliver measurable outcomes while assessing organizational impacts, shaping change strategies, and coordinating business readiness activities such as communications, training, process updates, and operational transition planning.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Data, Architecture, Security, and Operations to develop integrated delivery plans, understand technical dependencies and risks, establish strong governance, manage RAID logs, ensure compliance, produce clear stakeholder reporting, and support effective decision-making through data-driven insights.
What you will be doing:
- Using your betting and gaming industry experience, you'll be leading the end-to-end delivery of complex business projects working with and directing technical delivery from initiation through to implementation and benefits realization.
- Developing and maintaining integrated project plans covering scope, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and critical path activities.
- Establishing clear workstream plans with defined ownership, deliverables, and success measures whilst monitoring delivery progress against agreed plans and proactively identifying risks, delays, and delivery challenges.
- Stakeholder Management, you'll build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders, technology leaders, operational teams, and third-party suppliers whilst managing stakeholder expectations through clear communication, effective governance, and transparent reporting.
- Preparing and presenting project updates to Steering Committees, Directors, Executive Leadership teams, and programme governance forums and influencing decision-making and driving timely resolution of issues and blockers.
- Holding delivery teams accountable for commitments, milestones, actions, and agreed outcomes and challenging any missed deadlines, delivery issues, and unclear ownership constructively and professionally.
- Escalate delivery issues and performance concerns appropriately whilst supporting teams in achieving successful outcomes.
- Driving a proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Who we are looking for:
We are committed to responsible gambling, and we are looking for people who can support our ethos. To apply to this post, you will have:
- Experience with the betting and gaming industry (essential) with expert project planning and delivery management capability, including management of complex dependencies and critical path activities with proven experience delivering medium to large-scale business and technology projects.
- Demonstrable experience holding cross-functional teams accountable for delivery outcomes you'll have excellent stakeholder management experience across Executive, operational, and technical audiences.
- Experience leading business change and organizational transformation initiatives and experience working within Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and technology partners with an excellent understanding of governance, contingency planning, budgeting, and benefits tracking.
