Project Manager

Location: Hybrid – WFH & (Edinburgh/London Offices) Department: Project Management Reports To: Programme Manager

Salary: £40,000.00 – £50,000.00 per year (Full-time, Permanent)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in marketing and technical expertise to lead and execute a range of innovative client projects. This role requires collaboration across data and development teams to ensure successful project delivery for clients.

The ideal candidate will combine project management proficiency with expertise in on/offline marketing, technical processes, and technical execution to drive impactful client outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects for data and marketing technology integrations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Track project milestones, identify risks, and implement proactive measures to resolve issues and maintain schedule alignment.

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Collaborate with data and development teams to strategise, execute, and optimise cross-channel client-facing activities.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of campaigns for new and existing clients.

Technical Coordination

  • Bridge marketing needs and technical requirements, ensuring that client projects align with technical specifications.
  • Work closely with developers, data analysts, and systems engineers to deliver integrations, optimisations, and platform delivery.
  • Ensure seamless functionality across various systems, assessing and mitigating technical constraints.

Stakeholder Management

  • Present clear and concise status updates, risks, and successes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve timely, high-quality project delivery.

Requirements

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field.
  • A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is advantageous.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of project management experience with a focus on marketing and technical projects.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead cross-functional projects, particularly in marketing technology spaces.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing disciplines, including:
    • SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, HubSpot, Salesforce) and CRM systems.
  • Strong technical understanding or hands-on experience in software development and/or IT project workflows.
