Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Manage projects end-to-end: from sales handover through delivery to final payment.
- Serve as the main internal contact, coordinating with Project Managers and cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, operations, procurement, quality).
- Lead Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) activities:
- Investigate issues thoroughly.
- Implement timely resolutions.
- Clarify outcomes to stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate documentation:
- Create project datasheets.
- Populate MRP and document control systems.
- Maintain updated schedules.
- Monitor progress, identify risks/delays, and align recovery plans with timeline/cost benchmarks.
- Report on status, risks, financials, and forecasts to management.
- Manage:
- Budgets.
- Cashflow forecasting.
- Invoicing.
- Margin improvement opportunities.

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Project or project delivery experience (ideal in manufacturing or engineering environments).
- Demonstrated commercial awareness—comfortable handling internal/investor issues.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset:
- Lateral thinking.
- Issue-resolution skills.
- Driving corrective actions.
- Strong leadership, influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Track record of meeting budget/time/quality goals.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Desirable but Not Mandatory
- Knowledge of compressors or rotating machinery.
- Experience in sectors:
- Petrochemical, oil & gas.
- Refrigeration, heat pumps.
- Biogas, vapour recovery.
- Project Management qualifications.
- HNC or higher in a technical discipline.

Working Style & Pattern
- Flexible hybrid model: Minimum 2 days/week in the Renfrew office.
- Occasional domestic/international travel to suppliers or customers.
