Project Manager – Facilities Management Solutions
Facilities Management Solutions provides tailored facilities management services to customers in Milton Keynes and the surrounding counties. We are a rapidly growing facilities management company, delivering high-quality building maintenance and project works across multiple sectors.

Our reputation is built on professionalism, responsiveness, and long-term client relationships. As we grow, we’re looking for ambitious Project Managers who want to develop with us in this dynamic role.
Role Description
This is a fast-paced, varied role—no two days are the same!
You will:
- Manage your own portfolio of clients while identifying new business opportunities.
- Price work effectively and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Become the main point of contact for clients, ensuring every project exceeds expectations while fostering long-term relationships and increasing business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop new client relationships
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts
- Attend networking events and client meetings
- Conduct site surveys and carry out valuations
- Prepare quotations and project proposals
- Follow up on proposals and negotiate contracts
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Achieve agreed sales and gross profit targets

Relationship Management
- Build trust as the clients’ primary contact
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Establish long-term partnerships through regular reviews
- Resolve concerns quickly and professionally
- Spot future project opportunities
Project Management
- Manage projects from enquiry to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and tradespeople
- Develop programmes of work and monitor timelines
- Wield tighter control over budgets and profitability
- Ensure safety compliance across all projects
- Conduct site inspections and Inspections
- Oversee quality control standards
- Attend progress meetings
- Produce detailed project documentation
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standard
What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally have experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, Construction, or Mechanical & Electrical Environments. Even more importantly—you’ll need the right mindset and attitude.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys meeting new people and building strong relationships
- Thinks commercially and business-focused
- Is organised and proactive
- Takes ownership of projects
- Can prioritise several tasks simultaneously
- Communicates clearly and confidently with clients
- Enjoys solving problems and finding solutions
- Has clear career progression goals
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (separating min-pt licence would be helpful)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Commercial awareness
- Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently

Desirable Experience
- Previous project management or facilities management experience
- Background in HVAC or Mechanical & Electrical services
- Familiarity with CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) systems
- Experience with quotation preparation and contract management
