Project Manager
Senior Project Manager – Utilities & Infrastructure
About the Role
At Dalcour Maclaren, we’re key players in the Utilities and Infrastructure industry, helping the UK and Ireland progress towards Net Zero every day. Our land, environmental, and geospatial experts collaborate to secure the consent needed by clients for critical projects, offering a full service including:
- Land access and assembly
- Agricultural liaison
- Planning
- Environmental impact assessments
- Geospatial mapping

Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects from conception through to completion.
- Collaborate closely with Client Managers to ensure client satisfaction and strong professional relationships.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines, ensuring financial and operational success.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively across active projects.
- Ensure all work adheres to high-quality standards and complies with legal and contractual requirements.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes.
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the evolution of industry-leading project management methodologies.
- Support and develop your team through effective leadership and line management.
- Champion the use of internal systems and tools to enhance project delivery and reporting.
- Conduct regular project reviews and implement lessons learned to improve future outcomes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Engage stakeholders through clear, consistent communication and reporting.
- Align project outcomes with client objectives and business strategy.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience in project management
- Experience leading teams in a delivery-focused environment
- Outstanding communication skills, both internally and externally with stakeholders
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft products
- Solid numeracy skills and financial understanding
- Highly organised with an exceptional attention to detail
- A keen problem-solver who thrives on creative solutions
