An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Technology & Innovation team at Pivotal Sec Plus. As we continue to invest in technology, digital transformation and operational excellence, we are looking for a talented project professional who can successfully drive business-critical initiatives that improve efficiency, enhance customer experience and support our ambitious growth plans across the UK and Ireland.
Reporting directly to the Director of Technology & Innovation, you will work across multiple departments to deliver innovative projects that have a real impact on the future of our business. Salary
- Competitive salary depending on experience.

Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering technology, operational and business transformation projects across the organisation. Working closely with the Director of Technology & Innovation, you will be responsible for managing projects from concept through to implementation, ensuring successful delivery against agreed scope, budget, timescales and business objectives. You will collaborate with colleagues across Operations, Finance, Commercial, IT and Customer Services, as well as external suppliers and technology partners, to deliver projects that support innovation and continuous improvement.
This role requires an organised, proactive individual who enjoys solving problems, managing stakeholders and delivering positive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of multiple technology, innovation and operational improvement projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets and resource schedules.
- Define project scope, objectives and deliverables with business stakeholders.
- Manage project governance, ensuring clear reporting and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams and external suppliers.
- Monitor project performance against agreed milestones and KPIs.
- Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
- Prepare project documentation including business cases, project plans, RAID logs, status reports and steering committee updates.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation to ensure stakeholder engagement and successful project adoption.
- Support procurement, implementation and integration of new technologies and systems.
- Manage project budgets and ensure effective use of resources.
- Facilitate workshops, project meetings and lessons learned reviews.
- Ensure projects comply with company governance, information security and regulatory requirements.
- Promote best practice project management methodologies across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, automation and continuous improvement.
- Support organisational change by ensuring effective communication, training and transition planning.
- Measure project benefits and ensure successful project handover into business-as-usual operations.

About You
You are an experienced Project Manager who thrives on delivering change and enjoys working with people across all areas of a business.
Essential
- Minimum three years’ experience managing projects from initiation through to completion.
- Proven experience delivering technology, digital transformation or business change projects.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules and resources.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and manage multiple workstreams.
- High attention to detail and strong governance mindset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
Desirable
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or Agile Project Management qualification.
- Experience working within financial services, cash management, logistics or regulated industries.
- Experience delivering digital transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience implementing ERP, CRM or enterprise software solutions.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, systems integration or cloud technologies.
