Project Manager
As a Project Manager at Codethink you will be working with world-class organisations across industries such as electronics, finance, medical and automotive. You’ll have a leading role in ensuring projects are managed from the start through to successful completion, within the agreed budget and client specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the sales process, through managing the engineering and project delivery input for bids
- Managing the delivery of multiple simultaneous customer projects, often highly complex technical projects, both client facing and internal investments
- Being a proactive member of account management teams with a view to maintaining/increasing sales within a client account
- Collaborating with Codethink colleagues, to nurture and effectively manage client relationships
- Building effective project teams
- Management of engineers on the project
- Management of project budgets
- Creation and management of project plans, risk logs, change requests and logs, dependency logs
- Working closely with the technical teams and leads

What are we looking for:
- A sociable and confident individual, with the ability to deal with all kinds of people
- Someone capable of dealing with pressure, uncertainty and deadlines
- The ability to demonstrate both willingness and ability to grasp new technical concepts
- A self starter, well organised with a practical approach, capable of adapting to different demands from week to week
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- At least 3 years experience in software project management
An ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in some or all of the following:
- Managing the successful delivery of technical software projects
- Working within the SDLC, or possessing a good understanding of this
- Managing project budgets
- Managing teams and individuals
