Are you looking for a supportive environment and an opportunity to thrive and develop your career?

Do you enjoy challenging the norm and pursuing continuous improvement?

Then there is a place for you at Mitie!

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering a varied portfolio of projects supporting our Head of Margin Enhancement. This is a dynamic and stretching role where planning, coordination, concise communication, and sound governance are essential for success.

You will support the Head of Margin Enhancement in delivering the Margin Enhancement programme and play an integral part in ensuring that scope, risks, issues, and key data are understood, controlled, and clearly reported.

Working with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide structure and direction helping projects move forward with confidence and clarity.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and experienced Project Manager who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, can balance competing priorities, and is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, project boards, and cross-functional teams.

Main Duties

A key element of the role is to bring structure and consistency across multiple workstreams. You will work closely with colleagues in Insight, Operations, and Finance, ensuring project activity is aligned, progress is visible, and key metrics are captured consistently.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Standardising the capture of data and information. Excel (Pivot Analysis) and SharePoint capabilities are therefore highly desirable.
  • Clarifying project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders and the Portfolio team.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, tracking progress, and alignment across relevant teams.
  • Managing risks, issues, scope, budgets, and dependencies, escalating challenges early.
  • Facilitating regular project meetings, reviews, and reporting for steering groups and project boards.
  • Producing clear and concise project reporting, including weekly highlight reports for monthly Steering Committee and Board updates.
  • Running lessons learned sessions and contributing to continuous improvement across the PMO.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will be expected to manage with confidence, communicate clearly and concisely, and help maintain programme integrity by identifying risks early, supporting resolution, and keeping stakeholders informed.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a minimum of three years' experience in a Project Manager or similar delivery role, with proven and demonstrable experience of managing multiple projects concurrently.

You should be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams, with the ability to engage, influence, and communicate at all levels of the organisation. Strong and proven organising skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise competing demands effectively.

You will also need to be a clear written and verbal communicator and be able to deliver outcomes consistently when faced with competing demands and bring discipline to the structure of the programme, especially when related to background activities that feed into project meetings, steering groups, and project boards.
