Project Manager (m/f/d) Motorsport – RIEDEL Communications
RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors. To deliver comprehensive solutions for customers, we operate across three business units: Product Division, Managed Technology, and Riedel Networks.
Our Managed Technology division rents out advanced audio, video, IT, and communication solutions for international live events, supporting everything from festivals (like Rock am Ring) and sporting events (such as Formula 1 and the Super Bowl) to creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Your Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design planning, organisation, and execution of international motorsport projects, collaborating closely with internal specialist departments to align technological and commercial aspects.
- Oversee end-to-end project management, from customer consultation and concept development to on-site delivery, reporting, and documentation across the full project lifecycle.
- Drive the strategic development of motorsport programs by expanding services for customers in partnership with the sales team.
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of service portfolios, technical solutions, and service quality, working closely with development teams.
- Monitor and control operational implementation, ensuring delivery of quality, timelines, and budgets while identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
- Lead on-site project teams, taking full financial, technical, and operational responsibility, including coordination with external partners, freelancers, and service providers across international race calendars.

Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship or university degree in a technical, business, or event-related field.
- Proven project management experience in international events, preferably within live production environments (motorsport experience is highly desirable).
- Strong technical understanding and interest in innovative solutions in audio, video, and networking technology.
- Exceptional leadership skills, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented mindset for fast-paced, time-critical environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to forge strong internal and external relationships.
- Proficiency in project planning and management methodologies, as well as common project management tools.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a bonus.
- High flexibility, with a willingness to travel internationally on a frequent and intensive basis.
