Due to our ambitious growth plans, we’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to support expansion in the Midlands, helping us build a stronger presence across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Manage project setup, including:
- Allocating site teams
- Handover from estimation processes
- Agreeing budgets
- Reviewing retrofit information
- Procuring sub-contractors
- Formulating project programmes
- Day-to-day management of:
- Site Managers
- Site Supervisors
- Tenants Liaison Officers
- Any site operatives under your direction
- Conduct regular team briefings (formal and informal) to:
- Communicate programme priorities and changes
- Review key project milestones
- Ensure all sites have proper resources, collaboratively with the supply chain and company resources.
- Monitor supply chain performance to:
- Ensure adherence to programmes and contractual requirements
- Support operational efficiency
- Attend regular operations meetings and produce necessary reports.
- Oversee quality control to guarantee:
- Properties meet contract specification standards
- Retrofit compliance requirements are adhered to
- Deadline-driven customer project lodgements

Qualifications & Compliance Required
- SMSTS certification
- CSCS Card
- Valid First Aid certification
- Full UK driving license
(Desirable but welcomed: NVQ L7 Diploma in Construction Senior Management or IOSH Managing Safely)

Key Skills & Experience Requirement
Technical Requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in construction
- Proven expertise in managing social housing/energy efficiency schemes
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and management capabilities to influence and mentor teams.
- Ability to plan, organise, and deliver countering tight deadlines with high-quality standards.
- IT proficiency, particularly in Outlook and Excel.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in retrofit processes, including assessments, design, and lodgements.
