About Statkraft

The European Wind and Solar (E) business area oversees the development and ownership of wind and solar assets in Europe and leads large-scale project execution, group procurement, and new business opportunities.


About the Role

We are recruiting a Solar / Wind Project Manager to strengthen our Project Delivery Unit in the UK / Ireland. This role will管理大规模的可再生能源基础设施项目,涵盖风电、太阳能光伏及电池储能,从事下列工作:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of solar and wind projects, ensuring all stages are completed successfully.
    • Manage scope, budget, timeline, quality, and risks.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with health & safety (HSE), environmental, permitting, and anti-corruption regulations.
    • Provide governance, reporting, and documentation to senior management.
    • Direct tendering, procurement, including balance-of-plant contracts and site activity oversight.
    • Utilise Statkraft’s project management systems for safety, contracts, financial, and risk controls.
  • Support team improvements and contribute to broader project delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk throughout project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure fully compliant with HSE, environmental, permitting, and anti-corruption requirements.
  • Assure project reporting, governance, and documentation for senior leadership.
  • Lead tendering and procurement for project contracts.
  • Ensure coherency in technical design inputs and oversee site activities as required.
  • Maintain best practices for Statkraft’s financial, contracts, safety, and risk management systems.
  • Foster continuous improvement and integrate into the renewable energy project delivery team.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a closely related discipline.
  • Proven 5+ years’ experience in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects (preferably wind/solar/battery storage).
  • Expertise in budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and project delivery from development to operations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficient with:
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Project Management (MS Project or equivalent).
    • SharePoint platforms.
    • Knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
  • Certifications in rainpower, wind/solar project management highly valued.
