Project Manager – Fixed Income | Asset Management 6-months contract Umbrella rate (Inside IR35)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a Fund Manager, leading the delivery of technology and business change projects across fixed income and wider investment management.
The role involves
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while keeping them on schedule and within scope
- Collaborating with stakeholders spanning EMEA, APAC, and NA, from board-level decision-makers to operational teams
- Driving delivery with a hands-on, pragmatic approach

What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end project delivery using agile methodologies
- Maintain clear project documentation (plans, RAID logs, status updates)
- Chair meetings with senior and cross-functional stakeholders
- Translate complex problems into simple, actionable insights for both business and technical audiences
What We’re Looking For
✔ Proven project management experience in asset management, with in-depth knowledge of:
- Fixed income instruments
- Money market products
- Derivative markets

✔ Exceptional communications skills, able to:
- Match tone from board-level downwards
- Explain technical challenges accessible to all stakeholders
✔ Strong prioritisation, organisational skills, and judgement to navigate competing deadlines
✔ A leadership style that motivates teams rather than micromanages
✔ Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and build collaborative relationships
Nice to Have
- Experience in development or operations
- Professional certification such as PMP or Scrum Master
