P&W is an award-winning independent branding and packaging design agency with 40 years of experience creating exceptional brands for some of the world's leading retailers and FMCG companies.
We're a close-knit team of 14 creatives, strategists and project specialists who pride ourselves on delivering world-class work with a collaborative, hands-on approach. We've proudly worked with Tesco for 39 years and continue to partner with leading brands, including Ferrero, Japanese retailer Seicomart, ambitious challenger brands and a range of FMCG businesses.
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager specialising in retail packaging programmes to join our team and lead the delivery of a significant new international retail programme for a leading international retailer.
If you're highly organised, enjoy working with creative teams and clients, and have experience managing packaging projects from concept through to production, we'd love to hear from you.
Location
Hybrid - London (Marylebone)
This role requires you to work from our London studio every Tuesday and Thursday. This requirement is non-negotiable.
We are open to full-time, part-time, permanent or freelance applications.
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.
Start Date: Within the next month.
The Role
Working closely with our Senior Strategist & Creative Director, Project Strategist and Senior Designers, you'll play a central role in the day-to-day management of a new major international retail account, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the exceptionally high creative standards P&W is known for.

You'll coordinate designers, artworkers, photographers, printers and external suppliers, while acting as a key point of contact for the client. From initial concept through to final production, you'll keep projects running smoothly, manage priorities, solve challenges proactively and ensure clear communication across every stage of the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage retail packaging and branding projects from concept through to final production.
- Coordinate packaging design, artwork rollout and new product development across multiple product categories.
- Ensure all work is delivered in line with an established set of brand guidelines and creative standards, maintaining consistency across every touchpoint.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resources and priorities across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Act as the day-to-day client contact, leading project meetings and building strong working relationships.
- Coordinate internal creative teams, printers and external suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Oversee photography, print production, regulatory artwork and proof approval processes.
- Identify potential risks, proactively solve problems and keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality.
Essential Experience
You'll have at least three years' experience in a similar role and demonstrate experience in:
- Managing packaging design and artwork projects while working closely with a packaging design or branding agency.
- Working on own-brand packaging programmes for major food retailers.
- Experience with retailers such as Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Carrefour (or similar).
- Packaging artwork rollout and print production.
- Managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Leading client meetings and building strong working relationships.
- Using project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com or similar.
