Project Manager
Project Manager
Location: Studley, Warwickshire / Home-based with some UK Travel

We seek to recruit an excellent Project Manager to oversee project planning and management—aligning with customer requirements, company policies, and procedures—while ensuring superior customer service. This essential role maintains the company’s professional image and fosters a safe, safety-conscious work environment. Responsibilities span UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage entire project activities from contract award to completion, ensuring compliance with:
- Contract adherence
- Permitting/regulatory requirements
- Project programmes
- Method statements, RAMS (risk assessments and method statements), budgets
- Health and safety standards
- Quality requirements
- Act as the primary customer contact during project execution, maintaining timely communication and resolving queries promptly.
- Chair and disseminate information at internal project kick-off meetings, ensuring clarity for engineering and operations teams.
- Conduct customer site visits and facility route surveys (third-party locations—e.g. ports/harbours), recording data to update RAMS and meet compliance.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the timely submission of permits (transport, marine) and governance documentation.
- Align all activities with Allelys’ scope and programme, addressing any required changes proactively.
- Oversee project costs while maximising profit margins, reporting variances to the Head of Project Delivery and reconciling requirements with the client.
- Identify revenue/profitability opportunities through client engagement, presenting financial assessments/forecasts bi-weekly to leadership.
- Enforce quality management, health and safety, environmental, and legal standards at all project activities.
- Nurture client relationships while delivering exceptional service.
- Facilitate communication with contractors, managers, and all employees and manage internal/external meetings.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven project management experience in commercial transport/heavy lift or civil engineering sectors.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise across multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience working as a bridging figure between senior leadership, staff, and clients.
- Teamwork with highest professionalism and approachability.
- Flexibility, reliability, and resilience under contract deadlines and high-pressure environments.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Advanced organisation, problem-solving, and initiative.
