We're working with a leading financial services client who is looking for an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to join their team on an initial contract through to the end of the year. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile data and analytics initiatives within a fast-paced Agile environment.

The Role

You'll be responsible for driving the successful delivery of key projects, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and working closely with technical teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. This is a hands-on delivery role that requires someone who can confidently bridge the gap between business and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project delivery across Agile workstreams within a financial services environment.
  • Facilitate and manage Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with technical teams, removing blockers and ensuring successful delivery against agreed objectives.
  • Manage delivery plans using Wave Planning techniques.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong technical understanding of Data, Analytics, and associated tooling.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with technical delivery teams and communicate confidently with engineers, architects, and developers.
  • Certified Scrum Master with experience leading Agile delivery.
  • Experience of Wave Planning and iterative project delivery.
  • Strong project delivery background within the financial services sector.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience delivering User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) initiatives.
