Job Description

The Role

As our Project Manager for Set Builds, you will be the logistical and operational powerhouse behind the physical sets that bring NEXT’s fashion visions to life.

Based at our Premier Park studios in West London, you will use your expertise to bridge the gap between creative briefs and physical execution. Reporting directly to the Creative Lead, you will be fully supported as you coordinate the journey of each set from its initial design concept through to the final build. This role offers you the autonomy to make a tangible, creative impact on every shoot we deliver.

What you'll take on

  • Coordinate daily workloads to ensure all bespoke sets are built on time and to our high standards.
  • Manage shoot logistics by tracking deadlines and coordinating resources to keep studio operations running smoothly.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Lead and other stakeholders to translate creative shoot briefs into practical, actionable project plans.
  • Oversee material procurement and track budgets for upcoming projects and workshop needs.
  • Support the design process by applying your creative eye to map out layouts and structural requirements.
  • Maintain studio safety to ensure a functional and organised environment across both the workshop and the sets.

What you'll bring

  • Foundational experience in construction, events, set building, or within a busy studio environment.
  • Practical knowledge of working on the tools, with a preference for experience in carpentry, scenic painting, or other physical build processes.
  • Strong organisational skills paired with a natural ability to multitask and manage shifting project timelines.
  • Basic design awareness to help you effectively understand layout, space, and visuals.
  • Familiarity with digital tools, ideally including Google Workspace, Asana, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A resilient mindset that allows you to remain calm and solution-oriented when priorities shift in our fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communication skills, enabling you to comfortably liaise between creative teams, builders, and key stakeholders.
  • A proactive, positive attitude toward problem-solving and studio logistics, alongside a full UK Driving Licence to support work across various shoot locations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
