Project Manager (Construction) – South Region
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Construction – South Region, you will manage and oversee the end-to-end delivery of construction projects for Bauer’s small format products—including:
- Bus shelters
- Digital advertising screens
- Freestanding ad screens
Your goal: ensure projects are effortlessly delivered, on time, and within budget.
As part of your responsibility, you’ll need to:
- Travel to multiple construction sites across the South of the UK
- Work closely with delivery depots to coordinate with construction teams and site managers

What the Role Entails
- Scoping projects from tender specifications, commercial briefs, progress reports, and other project documentation
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop realistic work programmes
- Partnering with contractors to meet project timelines and budgets
- Cultivating strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal colleagues
- Working alongside Site Inspectors to identify and resolve any on-site issues
- Ensuring construction documentation is accurate, shared, and stored appropriately
- Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines at every stage
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, civils, infrastructure, or highways projects
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication—both verbal and written
- Compliance with CDM 2015 (Construction (Design and Management) Regulations) or IOSH/SMSTS qualifications (Issued for Construction Operations, Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- Experience in budget management and financial accountability
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across different sites
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- Ideally a recognised project management qualification, though not essential
- Must have expertise in managing projects using online workflow software
