Installation Technology (IT) have been providing network solutions for over 30 years. We work with some of the biggest organisations in education, healthcare, and transport.
About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager based primarily at customer sites and company offices in London to manage the end-to-end implementation of projects for Installation Technology. You will ensure projects are delivered safely and on time, meeting quality, budget, and customer specifications while achieving desired outcomes.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Excellent project management skills underpinned by a technical background in Information Technology and/or engineering installation.
- Familiarity with industry-standard project methodologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery (£500k or less)
- Manage the end-to-end delivery—from start to full customer acceptance—ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
- Oversee the project’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance according to both customer standards and Installation Technology’s regulatory obligations.

Documentation & Compliance
- Create and maintain project documentation (drawings, test results, work completion certificates) in customer/IT systems.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and submit required permits/space applications on time.
- Compile and submit Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) at least 48 hours before work begins.
- Apply for customer permits and space registrations proactively.

Stakeholder & Site Management
- Act as the primary customer contact and proactively manage expectations, ensuring post-delivery customer satisfaction.
- Consult with Project Engineers daily on all applicable project activities.
- Manage Lead Engineers on-site, ensuring documentation is up to date (daily reports, test results).

Resource & Financial Oversight
- Liaise with Finance to secure timely customer payments aligned with delivery progress. -Coordinate with Operations, Training, and Logistics for resource and material needs.
- Approve and submit Bill of Materials (BOMs) for Logistics Department distribution to site teams.

- Risk & Issue Management
- Compile and maintain a risk & issue register; proactively address challenges before they escalate.
- Conduct post-incident follow-ups and report any breaches internally.
- Ensure materials resources align with project timelines and estimator projections.
Requirements
- Proven track record in end-to-end IT/networking/engineering project management (preferably in edu/health/transport sectors).
- Deep understanding of project lifecycle management (planning, execution, monitoring, closure).
- Direct experience with HSE compliance, CDM regulations, and technical documentation standards.
- Ability to manage remote/hybrid teams, budgets, and multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Strong reporting skills (including customer-facing updates and internal progress tracking).
