Project Manager

We're looking for an experienced, ambitious, and driven Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the successful delivery of projects across the UK, working with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role
As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from initial planning through to successful completion. You'll:
- Coordinate resources
- Manage subcontracted asset surveyors across the UK
- Oversee budgets and programmes
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Manage subcontracted asset surveyors across the UK, ensuring programme and quality targets are met.
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain project governance, risk registers, and issue logs.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project communications and progress updates.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.
- Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings.
- Negotiate contractor and subcontractor rates while maintaining quality and value.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for effective project delivery.
- Produce regular project reports for senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices across projects.

About You
You’ll be an organised and motivated Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex projects in fast-paced environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in managing and delivering complex projects.
- Strong background in managing budgets, forecasts, risks, and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in managing subcontractors and geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent knowledge of project planning, governance, and project controls.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience negotiating contractor agreements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Desirable
- Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business, or a related discipline.
- PRINCE2, APM, PMP, or equivalent Project Management qualification.
- Experience in commercial or contract management.
