The Role
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Design Team based in Gosport.
This role reports to Director of Innovation and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing technical product projects while ensuring that product documentation and production activities support business objectives, quality standards, and delivery commitments. The role acts as a key interface between Engineering, Production, Suppliers, Quality, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient project execution and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Project Management and Execution
- Lead technical product projects from initiation through final delivery by establishing project scope, objectives, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Apply structured project management methodologies to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective execution.
- Develop and maintain project plans, progress reporting mechanisms, and regular review processes to monitor performance and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Identify project risks, implement mitigation actions, and promote proactive issue resolution and continuous improvement practices.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, production, procurement, external suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines, specifications, and quality requirements.

Technical Documentation
- Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation related to products and manufacturing processes, consolidating engineering input into clear, structured, and controlled documents.
- Implement document control practices, standardized templates, and documentation workflows to ensure accuracy, traceability, and alignment with design and production changes.
- Manage document revisions and support the preparation of product specifications, manuals, and technical records that meet manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer requirements.

- Production Coordination and Follow-Up
- Monitor production activities to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with approved specifications, quality standards, and best manufacturing practices.
- Coordinate with internal production teams and external suppliers to resolve technical issues and maintain effective communication throughout the manufacturing process.
- Establish feedback loops between engineering, production, and suppliers, utilizing production performance data to identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track production status and provide timely updates and feedback to project stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and delivery commitments.

Experience and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in project management within a technical, manufacturing, or product development environment.
- Experience preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools and document control systems is advantageous.
