Project Manager – Technology & Business Change
About the Role
A growing organisation is seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of technology and business change initiatives across the entire business.
This role requires a highly adaptable Project Manager with broad experience in technology and transformation, rather than one who specialises in a single technical discipline or delivery environment.
The successful candidate will work across initiatives including:
- CRM and business application projects
- Infrastructure and end-user technology upgrades
- Operational systems optimisation
- Software-related change
- Data initiatives
- Process optimisation
- Wider transformation programmes
The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, with projects spanning both technical and operational teams. The role demands someone comfortable bridging gaps between technology and business needs to drive adoption, engagement, and long-term value realisation.
Stakeholder management is a key aspect of the role. The ideal candidate will:
- Operate effectively with senior leadership
- Challenge constructively where needed
- Manage expectations and deliver clear communication around risks, priorities, and outcomes
- Build and sustain trust across technical and operational stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end project ownership covering the full delivery lifecycle:
- Initiation & planning
- Rollout & adoption
- Transition to Business as Usual (BAU)
- Delivery of diverse technology & business change projects, including:
- CRM & business applications
- Infrastructure & end-user tech upgrades
- Operational systems & process improvements
- Integrations & software-related changes
- Data initiatives
- Management of multiple concurrent projects, balancing competing priorities across various business functions
- Coordination of:
- Internal IT teams
- Operational stakeholders
- External suppliers & third-party delivery partners
- Development & maintenance of:
- Detailed project plans
- Governance packs
- Status reporting
- Budgets
- RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies) logs
- Delivery timelines
- Support in:
- Requirements gathering
- Solution design
- Testing
- Rollout planning
- User engagement activities
- Ensuring business readiness, stakeholder alignment, and operational adoption of new systems
- Supplier management, ensuring third-party deliverables stay on track with agreed timelines and outcomes
- Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged
- Regular updates to senior leadership, with the ability to communicate progress, risks, and priorities in a commercially informed way
- Proactive risk identification, dependency management, and mitigation planning
- Supporting continuous improvement in project delivery standards, governance, and operational execution

Requirements
The successful candidate will bring:
Essential Experience & Skills
✔ Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels ✔ Proven experience delivering IT and business change projects in a complex, in-house environment ✔ Experience working across multiple technology areas, including:
- CRM platforms
- Business systems
- Infrastructure & end-user technology
- Software delivery
- Operational change ✔ Strong understanding of how technology initiatives impact:
- Operational processes
- User engagement
- Wider business performance ✔ Confidence in bridging technical and business stakeholder groups ✔ Strong stakeholder management, with executive presence to engage at a senior leadership level ✔ Ability to influence, challenge, and build credibility across organisational levels ✔ Project governance, planning, and delivery expertise ✔ Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment ✔ Proactive and adaptable approach, able to:
- Apply structure and momentum to projects
- Maintain accountability in fast-changing priorities
- Collaborate effectively in hands-on delivery environments

Desirable Experience
🔹 Background in professional services, legal, financial, consulting, or multi-stakeholder environments 🔹 Experience in organisations where technology is closely aligned with service delivery and client experience 🔹 Exposure to complex business environments with:
