What you’ll be doing
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of telecommunications projects that support network operations, customer connections, and strategic investment programmes. You will manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with business and regulatory requirements, while building strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and delivery partners.
- Manage and deliver multiple telecommunications projects across transmission and distribution networks, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery.
- Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from concept and planning through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, forecasts, and performance reporting.
- Support the delivery of telecommunications investment programmes and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory commitments.
- Coordinate projects that support customer connections, network growth, reinforcement works, and operational business requirements.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and framework partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and change controls, implementing effective mitigation strategies where required.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and investment approval support.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality, and governance requirements.
- Produce project reports, dashboards, and updates for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects within telecommunications, utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and the full project lifecycle.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, contractors, suppliers, and project risks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement, governance, and performance delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and reporting tools.

Minimum Criteria
- Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience in Telecommunications, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable project management experience delivering infrastructure, telecommunications, engineering, or utility projects.
- Experience managing project budgets, resources, schedules, and contractor performance.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Sound understanding of project governance, risk management, and project delivery processes.
