Your role
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Project Manager to join our Eastbourne Product Company, where the focus is on driving the definition, development, and execution of robust project plans, encompassing schedules, budgets, and key deliverables. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Technology and New Product Introduction (NPI) part projects are executed within agreed scope, timelines, and financial parameters.
As a Project Manager, you will collaborate extensively across interdisciplinary teams to guide new product developments through the established Product Creation Process (PCP) framework with key focus on the following:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining resource allocation, budgets, business cases, and schedules in partnership with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams, securing necessary approvals through defined governance protocols.
- Steer NPI and technology projects through all phases up to PCP Gate 6, ensuring that project scope, schedule adherence, budget limits, quality standards, and strategic goals are met or exceeded.
- Constantly track project performance metrics and KPIs, deliver transparent progress reports, and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests through effective mitigation strategies and escalation channels.
- Coordinate efforts with multi-disciplinary teams comprising Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and divisions within the Product Companies to foster alignment and drive project success.
- Ensure project resources and skill sets are adequately matched to tasks, promptly addressing any constraints or planning obstacles that may arise.
- Maintain exemplary project governance, including communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, change control mechanisms, documentation of lessons learned, and the promotion of continuous improvement across all project activities.
- Define, plan, and execute all project deliverables in strict alignment with overall project objectives, schedules, and PCP requirements.
- Oversee successful product industrialization and transition processes, ensuring full compliance with safety, regulatory standards, and PCP protocols, facilitating a smooth handover to volume production and technical support teams.

- Degree qualified in a Project management/Engineering/Science discipline; Project management qualification desirable.
- Demonstrate Project management experience, preferably within an engineering, electronics, or product development environment.
- Essential to demonstrate ability to plan and deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
- Essential to demonstrate ability to prioritise multiple activities and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to adapt and respond effectively to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels internally and externally.
- Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Ability to monitor project performance and communicate progress, risks, issues, and KPIs to management.
- Confident use of Microsoft Project.

Job location
This position is based on-site at our Eastbourne or Burgess Hill office in the United Kingdom, providing vibrant face-to-face collaboration opportunities within a dynamic team environment.
Flexibility is important to us; as such, we support flexible working arrangements to accommodate your needs while maintaining effective project delivery.
The role involves occasional travel to other locations, key suppliers, and some customer-facing engagements, enabling broader exposure and collaboration within our global network.
